I love my mixer! Molly and I whipped out a cake in no time. We started at 8:00 p.m. and had the cake in the oven by 8:10. Clean up was done by 8:15! We didn't frost the yellow cake. We like to frost individual pieces so you can decorate it as you see fit. Maybe sprinkles, maybe gel writing pen, etc. It's great fun. I must say, the cake did have a few crunchy bites. (Molly cracked the eggs into the mixer bowl.) All's well, part of the joy of cooking with a 5 year old!

My Kitchenaid stand mixer is one of my absolute favorite things, too! I really don't know how people live without one.
